Dean and Emma made their sacramental vows on August 8th at the magnificent St. Mary Church in Mt. Angel, Oregon. Guests were able to enjoy the splendor of the stained glass windows, ornate stenciling, high vaulted and ribbed ceiling and pointed arches while witnessing the couple entering into their lifelong commitment to each other.
Guests comfortably participated in this Catholic Mass , which was even more special for the couple since the brides brother, Fr. Josef, performed their ceremony. Working through the tears and emotions that followed the readings and homily, Dean and Emma were welcomed as a new married couple with an applause that filled the church once they were pronounced husband and wife.
Images of Dean and Emma were captured under a treasure of stained glass windows, that decorated the walls of this 100 plus year old church.
After the ceremony, the couple was escorted on the groom’s fire engine to meet up with friends and family at the reception which took place in a tented, outside field at a private residence.
Emma wearing her white gown, her bridesmaids in navy blue, and the men looking sharp in their charcoal grey suites, decorated the reception tent as they made their way through visiting with guest.
The delicious BBQ chicken that was cooked on site, was quickly enjoyed by all the guest and the evening ended with lots of energy on the dance floor.
We were blessed to be invited to capture Dean and Emma’s memories and wish them a lifetime full of happiness.
Many thanks to the incredible team who made this wedding come to life…
