As the temperatures warmed on a perfect day in Bend Oregon, Jason and Marybel said “I do” at the Aspen Hall surrounded by Shevlin Park. A quaint park was transformed into a romantic setting where family and friends gathered to share the couple’s love of 6 years.
The bride’s wedding dress was purchased from a charity auction and altered to fit her perfectly. The groom wore a classic three-piece suit and black tie.
Quickly following the ceremony, guest enjoyed a creative and tasteful salsa/ceviche bar and cocktails created by Olive Bartending. Strums of guitar by Miguel de Alonso played in the background while the crowd enjoyed friendly conversation under the warm sun. Children and adults of all ages couldn’t resist the cool temptations of homemade ice cream by Addy Macs ice cream truck that pulled up alongside the edges of this charming park.
Cocktail hour continued and the joys of social engagement transitioned to the Aspen hall, where hints of lavender and fresh wild flowers filled the tables. Under the warm lighting, charming chalk-written boards sprinkled throughout the room, labeling each station with character and class, giving this room a mix of urban and woodland romance.
Talk about a feast for the eyes! Slick’s Que Company filled each plate with sweet BBQ and Crumb Cake Bake delivered an elegant cake partnered with colorful, fun cupcakes.
This entire evening couldn’t have gone more smoothly without the help of Happenstance Events wedding coordinators. Their genuine, warm embrace and professional planning made this night seamless and stress free.
We were honored to capture Jason and Marybel’s once in a lifetime moments and wish them years of happy memories.
