Sparks were flying on this 4th of July as these high school sweethearts said their "I do's".
Beauty is everywhere at the Postlewaits, from the tasting room, to the gardens, to the charming saloon that rests on the grounds and pictures could not have been captured more perfectly with cascading rows of grapes, orchards and Mt. Hood off in the distance.
John and Elizabeth complimented the outside beauty with elegant white roses and hydrangeas that decorated the tables. White lights outlined the courtyard and created a designated dance floor that became filled as the night went on.
The bride's wedding dress, purchased from Bridal exclusive was perfect to her fitting, and paired tastefully with the groom's dark grey suit with his ivory dress shirt and black shoes. The Bridesmaids matched their style with light grey dresses, ivory shoes and white bouquets.
Following the outdoor ceremony that was held in a private garden, the couple added a twist of their culture by celebrating a Chinese Tea Ceremony, where John and Elizabeth dressed in the appropriate attire and greeted their guest with tea and Chinese candy. This ceremony was significant in their evening and was exciting to see.
After the tea ceremony, guest were seated where traditional Chinese bites waited on the table that soon followed a delicious buffet of roast beef, Prosciutto wrapped chicken catered by Divine Occasions Catering.
This evening ended with friends and family who created a grand exit with sparklers that lit up the path for the couple to make their final departure. We were honored to capture so many special moments for John and Elizabeth and wish them a lifetime of happy memories.
